Programs Adequacy to Protect Public Health and Safety and Compatibility with the NRC Regulatory Program.

SUMMARY
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff plans to convene a public workshop with representatives of Agreement States, non-Agreement States, the regulated community, public groups and the general public to discuss the draft policy statement for Agreement State adequacy to protect public health and safety and compatibility of Agreement State regulatory programs with that of the NRC.
The purpose of the workshop is to seek comments and recommendations from the full spectrum of interested parties on the various issues pertaining to the draft policy statement.

The workshop will be held on November 15, 1994.
The time is 8:30 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m.

The comment period for this draft policy statement expires on December 19, t
