Washington Public Power Supply System (WPPSS Nuclear Project No. 1) Docket No. 50-460-OL Gentlemen:
i In accordance with the October 14, 1983, Memorandum and Order in the captioned proceeding, the Washington Public Power Supply System (" Supply System") hereby submits its quarterly status report regarding construction activitics at WNP-1.
The status of the WNP-1 project was described in our quarterly report dated April 18, 1994, as updated by my subsequent correspondence to the Licensing Board (dated May 17, 1994) and Ms. Nina Bell (dated June 24, 1994).
There has been, since that correspondence, no material change in the status of the project.
The Supply System has advertised the WNP-1 facility as for sale to any interested party, but has thus far reached no agreements.
While the Supply System continues to consider alternatives for the future of WNP-1, the facility is, for the j
time being, still maintained in a deferred status in accordance j
with the Commission's Policy Statement on Deferred Plants (52 Fed. Reg. 38077 (1987)).
