SUBJECT: NOTICE OF VIOLATION (NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-341/93011(DRP))

This will acknowledge receipt of your letter dated August 2,1993, in response
to our letter dated July 2,1993, transmitting a Notice of Violation
associated with Inspection Report No. 50-341/93011(DRP). We have reviewed
your corrective actions and have no further questions at this time.
We have also reviewed your response to Unresolved Item 93011-04 and have no
further questions at this time.
Your recognition that problems involving
personnel error in the past were addressed on an individual basis, as opposed
to taking a broader perspective, should aid you in improving human

performance.

We will continue to monitor your corrective actions with respect to reducing

human errors as much as practical, particularly ISEG's role and effectiveness

in implementing the objectives of T.S. 6.2.3.3.
