SUBJECT: COMBINED INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-352/93-16 AND 50-353/93-16
This letter transmits the results of the resident safety inspection by Messrs. N. Perry, and
l
T. Easlick, from July 7 through August 16,1993, at the Limerick Generating Station,
l
Limerick, Pennsylvania. The inspection focused on issues important to ensuring the public
l
health and salety and consisted of observations of activities, reviews of documents and
'
m'terviews with plant personnel. The results are documented in the enclosed report and were
discussed with Mr. L. Hopkins of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
In general, activities were found to be conducted safely. In one instance, enforcement
!
discretion was exercised because of comprehensive followup to several instances of failure to
properly store plant equipment in safety related structures. Corrective actions were found to
be extensive.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and
its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
