This report transmits the findings of the routine resident inspection condtuted at the Calvert
Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, in addition, this report also contains the result 3 of our efforts to -
date regarding our special augmented inspection for the restart of Unit 2. At the conclusion of
the inspection, these findings were discussed with Mr. Denton of your staff.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region i Inspection Report
which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective
examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and
observations by ti e inspectors.
