SUMMARY
OF MEETING WITH NuttARC ON RESOLUTION OF NRC STAFF COMMENTS ON THE CABLE IN-CONTAINMENT LICENSE RENEWAL INDUSTRY REPORT (90-08)
On April' 10,.1991, members of the HRR and RES staff, and their conquitants met with representatives from NUMARC to discuss the subject matter. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the staff comments and the NUMARC responses so that an agreement-in-principle (AIP) status can be reached for individual staff comments where possible. Enclosure 1 is a list of attendees. is a sumary of the status of resolution of NRC coments as a result of the meeting. The NRC comments were transmitted to NUMARC by letter dated November 14, 1990. HUMARC provided proposed responses by letter dated March 15, 1991.
Prior to the meeting, the staff had a telephone conversation with NUMARC on April-12, 1991 and provided a list of ATP and open i_tems based on the_ staff's initial review.
As shown in Enclosure 2, the following comments were categorized as AIP and open at the meeting:
