Dear-Mr. Chairman:
Thank you for your letter of February 22, 1991, inviting me to visit: Prague in connection with a future trip to Europe.
Unfor_tunately, I-must; decline the invitation as my current schedule-does.not provide an opportunity.for a visit to Prague
- any time soon.=
However, I-understand that Commissioner Rogers plans-'to visit Czechoslovakia this f all, and I have provided him a copy ofJyour letter so that he can. plan to meet with you on that o.ccasion.
Additionally, should your own travel plans include a visit to the U.S.
in the near future, I would be pleased._ to-arrange to meet with you here in Washington, D.C.
As you may know, a c_ombined delegation,- consisting.of technical staff from the CSFR-and the' Hungarian National Atomic Energy Commission', is expected-to visit'the U.S.
in June of 'this year for technical discussions at NRC, followed by visits to several
.U.S. nuclear facilities._ Some of-the topics identified in ic yourEletter could perhaps be'added to the proposed list of l
discussion topics for--this visit.
