FONTICELID NUCLEAR GENERATING PIANT Docket No. 50-263 License No. DPR-22 Chan'c Request Dated February 27, 1974 Attached are three signed originals and 37 conformed copies of a request for a change of Technical Specifications, Appendix A, of the Provisional Operating License DPR-22, for the Monticello Nuclear Gen-erating Plant.
This change request has been reviewed by the Monticello Operations Cor.nittee and the Safety Audit Committee.
The present Technical Specifications are written based on unique aspects of the 7x7 fuel element design.
The attached proposed changes expand certain Specifications to govern the use of the 8x8 fuel element design df.scussed in the "Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant Second Reload Submittal," which was sent to your office on November 19, 1973.
