had made an analysis which indicated the flow blockage
resulting from the gauge block covering part of tne
fuel bundic orifice would not cause thermal prob!cmn.
At
the time of the inspection, a descriptive report describing
the analysin had not been made and the analynlu could.only
(
be understood with verbal cuidance from the licensee's

representative.
The licenuec stated a descriptivo teport
would be prepared,

Containment Isolatinn VaIves
The inspector inquired as to the licensec's action

regarding valves with a history of excessive leakage.6/
The licensee stated the following action had been taken
so far.

Main Steam Drain Line Valve (MO 2373)
- Thic valve
han been replaced with a new unme type valve.

IIPCI-9 Valve - The licennec intends to innta11 a
motor operated gate valve in addition to the
currently inctalled check valvo.
