License Amendment Request dated September 12, 1977_
In accoriance with the letter to me dated September 9,1977 from Mr D K Davis, Acting Chief, Operating Reactora Branch #2, Division of Operating Reactors, United States Nuclear Regulatory Connission, there are enclosed three originals and 37 conformed copies of a request dated September 12, 1977 for the amend-The amendment incorporates by reference the doctuent ment of license DPR-22.
entitled, " Design Report and Safety Evaluation for Replacement of Spent Fuel Pool Storage Racks", dated August, 1977 which was submitted tc you under cover of our letter of August 17, 1977.
The requested amendment would authorize replacement of the fuel storage racks to expand the storage capacity of the Monticello Spent Fuel Pool.
We request that you process this proposed change expeditiously in accordance with the schedule discussed in the referenced filing.
