L$ cense Amendment Request Dated September 19, 1977 Attached are three originals and 37 conformed copies of a request for a change of Technical Sepcifications, Appendix A, of the Pro-visional Operating License for the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant.

our License Amendment Request dated August 30, 1977 has been reviewed and issued by the Cocnission, i
The changes included in this request revise the examinatinr method for one examination category and clarify the permissible inspection interval tolerance. They are consistent with 10 Cnt 50, Section 50.55a(g) and Section XI of the ASME Code (1974 Edition through Su::ner 1975 Addenda).
I To permit us to cceplete the current refueling outage on schedule, we ask that these changes be reviewed and issued no later than October 15, 1977.
