which revised Technien1 Specifications for operation of the Monticello Nuclent Generating Plant (the facility) located in Wright County, Minnesota. The amendment is effective as of its' date 'of issuance.
The amendment revises the provisions in the Technical Specifications for the facility to authorize operation (1) with additioan! 8 x 3 fuel assenblics, (2) using modified operating limits based upon an evaluation of emergency core cooling yystem performance calculated in accordance with an acceptable evalution inodel that conforms to the requirements of Section 50.46 of 10 CPR Part 50 of the Commission's regulations, and (3)
I using operating limits based on the General Electric Thermal Analysis l' asis (GETAD).
The applications for the amendment comply with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and 4
the Connission's rules and reguintions.
The Comission has made appro-priate findings as required by the Act and the Comission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in'the license amendment.
