CONSENT TO INDIRECT CHANGE OF CONTROL FOR REUTER-STOKES, LLC, NRC LICENSE NO. SNM-1826
Dear Ms. Kuhls:
By letter dated July 31, 2019, the President of Reuter-Stokes, LLC submitted to the U. S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) a Request for Consent to indirect Change of Control of NRC Material License No. SNM-1826. The letter is available electronically from the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML19213A278.
Based on the information provided, we understand that as a result of a proposed changes in stock between Baker-Hughes, a GE company ("BHGE") and the General Electric Company
("GE"), both are the parent companies of Reuter-Stokes, LLC - the licensee, control of Reuter-Stokes, LLC will indirectly be transferred from GE to BHGE. We further understand that this transfer will not result in any change to the licensee name, licensed materials, persons using licensed material, location of use of licensed material, or persons responsible for the licensee's radiation safety program.
Based on the above understandings and as more fully detailed in the attachment which documents the NRC staff's review of the request, we have no objection to the proposed transfer. In addition, based on the letter dated October 15, 2019 we don't need further information regarding the proposed transfer.
An environmental assessment for this action is not required, since this action is categorically excluded under Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Section 51.22(c).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice and Procedure," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the NRC's ADAMS, accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
