Dear Mr. Thomas:
In accordance with my conversation with Mr. H. Bernard on August 15, 1983, we have enclosed one original and 10 copies of our Safety Analysis Report. This letter and the enclosed Safety Analysis Report constitute our application for renewal of Facility License R-94 which is due to expire on September 30, 1983.
As we are submitting this application more than 30 days prior to the expiration date, we presume that 10CFR permits our continued operation past the expiration date while the application is being evaluated.
