Andrew E.

McNamara TELEPHONE 1 (315) 524-4446 EXT. 301 at Ginna MONTH July, 1983 The Reactor Power was maintained at the 100% level during the report period, with one major and several minor exceptions.

The major reduction occurred on 7/24 when the power level was reduced to ~ 43% to perform a series of monthly Turbine Valve and Trip Tests.

The minor reductions occurred as follows:

On 7/1 the reactor power level was reduced to ~ 96%

while investigating a high temperature oil alarm on the Main Transformer.

On 7/3 the reactor power level was reduced to ~ 94% due to a lake temperature increase which caused the condensate and hydrogen cooler D/P's to increase above the maximum allowable.
