Dear Mr. Denton:
The LaSalle County Station SER Section 3.9.5, Reactor Vessel Internals, records an Edison commitment to include the results of the reevaluation of reactor internals to the recognized Mark 2 load combina-tions.
The FSAR Tables 3.9 series will be updated to include the Unit 2 information in FSAR Amendment 64.
The attached GE NEDO-30159 (July 1983) reports are provided as an informational reference to elaborate on the FSAR entries regarding the NSSS response to dynamic and seisic loads.
To the best of my knowledge and belief the statements contained herein and in the attachment are true and correct.
In some respects these statements are not based upon my personal knowledge but upon infor-mation furnished by other Commonwealth Edison and contractor employees.
Such information has been reviewed in accordance with Company practice and I believe it to be reliable.
