Dear Administrative Law Judges:
Yesterday I filed "LILCO's Recommendations to the Board for Prehearing and Hearing Procedures."
I have one correction to that filing r.nd a change, which I will explain below.
The correction is that on page 6, in the sixth line, "1981" should be "1982," as the context indicates.
As for the change, I have had second thoughts about the recommendation for place of hearing on page 7.
While Riverhead or Hauppauge may still be the most appropriate places for the C308100213 830805 mq6 PDR ADOCK 05000322 3"

Huwrox & WILLIAMS hearing, I think it would be better to hold the entire hearing one place or the other rather than to switch back and forth.
at The reason is that a hearing of the length and complexity that the emergency planning litigation promises to be requires the parties to keep extensive files at the place of hearing, as well as equipment such as computer terminals and copying ma-chines.
It takes a good deal of effort to transfer the files and equipment from one hearing location to another.
For the same sort of logistic reasons, wherever the hearing is held should be a place where all the parties can be assured of having adequate office space near the hearing room.
Yours very truly, M'
e, m.
