SU! MARY OF JULY 28, 1983 f1EETIliG On July 28, 1983, we met with representatives of Consumers Power Company (CPC) and CPC's contractor, NUS Corporation, at the fiUS offices in Gemantown, Maryland. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the results of the ilUS reanalysis of the themal/ structural integrity of the Big Rock Point spentffuel pool. A list of the attendees at this meeting is enclosed.
The reanalysis made corrections in the calculations to account for orthotropic plates and time steps instead of temperature steps.
In general, the results appeared to be acceptable; however,fiUS agreed to provide soce clarification of a few points. CPC with the assis-q tance of fiUS is preparing the reanalysis for subaittal.
