57300, JOB E-5590, FILE NO. 956C, M-61 This letter constitutes an interim report concerning the subject condition initially reported to the Commission on October 13, 1982 as a potentially reportable deficiency under the requirements of 10CFR50.55 (e).

As indicated in our previous report, LOZ-83-0017, the remainder of the corrective actions consists of modifying the existing cable tray hangers to accommodate the additional seismic loads from the Fire Protection piping.

Completion of these modifications is contingent upon relaxation of the NRC November 12, 1982 " Order to Show Cause and Order Immediately Suspending Construction" for this work.

Upon this relaxation, a projected schedule for completion of the corrective. actions will be submitted.
