Dear Mr. Mcdonald:
This letter is to inform you that Arizona Public Service Company intends to implement che appropriate sections of our QA Program, as identified in the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station FSAR, for the packaging and transportation of radioactive material. Our QA program satisfies the applicable criteria of 10CFR50 Appendix B.
The objective of this notification is to satisfy the requirements for establishing and maintaining a QA program for packaging radioactive material (10CFR71.51(d)).
Arizona Public Service Company commits to follow the provisions of our QA program which will be in effect at the time of shipment of the radioactive material.
