Our Department is conducting an investigative review of the engineering problems associated with the projects known as (1) the Midland Nuclear Power Plant and (2) the Fallisades Muclear Power Plant to determine if there is a possibility that license action might be warranted against licensed engineers.
Please consider this correspondence as our request for your Commission to provide any available non-technical information regarding problems that have o curred with the engineering design, engineering specifications, and/or impler atation of engineering work for these projects.
