Dear Mr. MacDonald:
GA Technologies Inc. contemplates using the ORNL D-38 shipping package licensed by NP,C under Certificate of Compliance 5787. The license allows us to use the cask under general license provisions of 10 CFR 71.12(b) with certain conditions. We have copies of the above-mentioned Certificate and the supporting safety analysis ORNL 5406, Rev.1, dated August 7, 1981. The safety analysis contains the drawings and operating procedures necessary for safe use of the package.
Accordingly, we request registration as a user to assure that we are promptly notified if any change to the package occurs. We look forward to your confirmation of our registered user status.
