TRIP REPORT TO REVIEW TERA CORPORATION'S RECORDS ACRS (16)
FILING SYSTEM On April 22, 1983 Mr. G. Gower and I visited Mr. R. Snyder at the TERA Corporation offices in Bethesda, Maryland. The purpose of the visit was to observe, for famil-iarization purposes, the filing system for controlled documents associated with the independent design and construction verification (IDCV) program for the Midland Plant Units 1 & 2.
The documents reviewed and their file identifier are identified in TERA's Project Quality Assurance Plan 3201, Section 4.
Records were observed to be maintained in a central location, and were categorized by subject f or easy retrieval. Drawings are maintained in a separate Drawing Room utilizing stick files. The listing of drawings maintained by TERA includes the current revision number of each orawing.
TERA's meeting minutes for the June 3,1983, meeting in Ann Arbor, MI which dis-cussed the Confirmed Items in the first monthly progress report (issued May 27, 1983), were reviewed.
I noted that NRC views regarding the protocol for sucn meetings will be the subject of separate cnrrespondence in the near future.
