I served aboard the USS Bainbridge (1969-1971) as a reactor operator.

My duties included Engine Roca Leading Petty Officer and Divisicn Training Petty Officer.

Auxiliary Operator "A" (2/14/72-10/1/73) Metropolitan Edison Company, Three Mile Island liuclear Station, Middletown, PA.

As an Auxiliary Operator I was responsible for the routine oper-ations and monitoring of the TMI Unit I Balance of Plant Systems

, during hydro and hot functional testing programs.

My experience as Shift Forecan included.the participation in the TMI.

Unit I Hot Functional Testing Program, fuel handling evolutions, and core loading activities.

In addition, I participated in the Zero Power Physics Testing and Power Escalation Programs. During these programs I received a minicum of two startups before taking an NRC license examination.

UNIT I REQUALIFICATION TRAINING PROGRAM (8/6/76-3/1/77)(Apprcx. 67 hrs)

I satisfactorily completed the Metropolitan Edison Company Unit I Operator Requalification Program.

2.

UNIT II CROSS LICENSING TRAINING (9/13/76-3/31/77)(100 hrs)

This program consisted of 100 hours0.00116 days <br />0.0278 hours <br />1.653439e-4 weeks <br />3.805e-5 months <br /> of formal classrocm instruction on Unit 2 systems.

It stressed the differences between Unit I and Unit II its secondary, and balance of plant systems.

3.

TURBINE CONTROLS TRAINING COURSE (5/4/77-5/6/77)(20 hrs)

This program was conducted on site by Westinghouse Electric Corporation and stressed operation of the Automatic Electro Hydraulic (AEH) turbina controls and turbine operations.

UNITIIOJTPROGRAM(12/1/76-8/1/77)(Approx.500 hrs)

This is an audited procedures and systems training program stressing self study and oral testing.
