Identifles the goals, objectives, and standards of performance for several grcups which establish design requirements for the Nuclear Steam Supply System and provides
.the engineering liaison and checking needed to ascertain that the product within the Engineering Department satisfies the requirements. Responsible for the preparation of requirement specifications, determination of analytical inputs necessary to support the design and requirements, evaluation of system and equipment. descriptions and p;rformance to assure the fulfillment of requirements and the identification, planning and execution of research and development programs necessary to meet strategic programs end reduce product cos ts.

Ossign ' lead for the Nuclear Steam Supply and Secondary Syster.s and specification of functional requirements and interfaces for related subsystems and components.
Identifies and coordinates the analysis work required to define both Plant Level

Rsviews and approves system design descriptions and component drawings and 'spedifi-cations for compliance with functional requirements.

Maintains the Standard Plant Design for Propossi Engineering to ensure that new proposals are consistent with, and current with, the present contracts, their requirements and the requirements of strategic programs.
Keeps abreast of the latest developments, techniques, and philosophies in NSSS design through study, research and partlcIpaeion in the appropelate meetings, industry coassittees and conferences in orcer to add to his fund of knowledge and expertness.
Maintains interface relationships with Plant Design Analysis Groups, Equipment Engineering, Component Engineering, Fuel Engineering and the Service Department and Project Management to ensure compatability with all other technical sections within NPGD.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with emphasis on nuclear Plant Technology.
EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 10 years engineering experience in the nuclear field. This should in-clude a broad background of design and analysis of systems in the nuclear plant and should include at least 3 years of supervisory and managerial experience.
