Responsible for providing comprehensive evaluation of all reactor safety factors related to the design and operation of all systems and equipment within the nuclear steam system.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSl81LITIES:
Responsible for proving that the reactor plant is an occeptable risk to the public by showing that potential or postulated reactor accident or radioactive material releases do not exceed acceptable limits.
',n Prepares, writeups and supporting analysis for accident analysis section of Safety Analysis Report (SAR) and environmental reports.
Establish maximum limits of operation and acceptable damage criteris to form basis

Review and e' valuate. test specifications and operating procedures related to accident analisis.

Specify shielding, design criteria" for ~orotection of operating personnel. the pubile and equiprua.nc from radiation exposure.

EDUCATION: 8'achelor's degree in nuclear or mechanical, engineering or other applicable technical degree.
EXPERIENCE: Requires abou't ten years of nuclear engineering experience. 'A few years of this should have been in a position of supervision.
