'A review of the specifications showed that their has been negligible lost motion in the proposition work being done for us by UE&C-J&M.
A rough breakdown of the specification with UE&C comments follow:
1.2 Schedule - appears readow ule 13 Ob.Jectives - Purchaser wants an Indian Point 2 containment 1.4 Scope - financial responsibility for changes is burden to be faced by Company and to be defined in our Terms and Conditions.
Constiuction management for entire plant (not Nuclear Island alone) is a UE&C condition for bidding.
15 Site - hypothetical site will be basis of bid dependent t_
on timing of site celection (i.e. an announcement.of site tomorrow would permit review and bid revision, while a selection two weeks before bid would not permit complete evaluation of construction and transport costs).
2.2 Bid Alternates - permit turnkey bids C,-Po Uo124o
