1982 Annual Report on Safety-Relief Valve Challenges at Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station

Dear Mr. Eisenhut:

This letter represents the 1982 annual report on safety-relief valve challenges for the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station as required by the TMI Action Plan, NUREG 0737, Item II.K.3.3.

The definition of challenges considered in this report is the automatic opening of the primary coolant system safety or relief valves in response to high reactor pressure.

During 1982, there were no challenges to the primary coolant system safety and relief valves on Peach Bottom Units 2 and 3.
