SUBJECT:
SlM4ARY OF MEETING WITH TEXAS UTILITIES GENERATING COMPANY GENERAL A meeting was held on June 15, 1983, in Bethesda, Maryland for a discussion of the applicant's plans for tube expansion in its Unit 1 Model D-4 steam generators.
A list of meeting attendees is enclosed.
DISCUSSION The applicant stated that they are. currently preparing their Unit 1 steam generator tubes for expansion commencing on June 17, 1983. Westinghouse then gave a presentation concerning,the tube expansion at Comanche Peak Unit 1.
This presentationcoveredthedevice;andmethodusedtoexpandthetubes,suscepta-bility of expanded tubes to stress corrosion cracking and denting, and data concerning tube vibration, work rate, and wear rate in D-4 steam generators.
CONCLUSION After a caucus, the staff stated that they knew of no outstanding questions

concerning the tube expansion 'rocess for Comanche Peak Unit 1.
