20555 Gentlemen:
As ordered (Tr. 2678-79), I am providing the fol-lowing schedule of target dates for filing the necessary documents and testimony prior to the commencement of resumed hearings in this case.
1.
The further information required of the Licensee by the NRC Staff concerning the seismic stabil-ity of the overhead crane _ (Tr. 2653, 2656-57) will be submitted by July 12, 1983, 2.
All testimony will be filed by September 15,-
1983.
This category includes (i) testimony to be written on various outstanding issues but not yet filed in this case, e.g.
the reliability of the make-up line, and (ii) revised testimony that may result from a review (presently ongoing) of the testimony previously filed in this case to determine whether or not it has become dated.
This testimony, to the extent possible, will be filed prior to the September 15 target date in order to provide more time for reriew by the Board and the parties.
It may be useful to reiterate the revised hearing schedule.

Evening sessions may be held if they are required to complete the evidentiary presentation on all issues.
This revised schedule was approved by the Board'at the request of the NRC Staff.
On June 13, 1983, Counsel for the Licensee discussed
.the order of issue presentation at the upcoming hearings with Mr. O'Neill.-
Counsel and Mr. O'Neill, speaking on behalf of all intervenors, agreed to the following order of issues:
1.
Emergency Planning (Subcontentions 9 (1), 9(6),
9(8) and 9(9)).
2.
Seismic analysis of crane = (Contention IIC).
3.
The south wall (Contentions 2 and IIA).
4.
Reliability of make-up line (Subcontentions (1)
Structural capability and (5) of Conten-of pool at elevated tions 8 and IIIE-2) temperatures.
5.
Risks of aircraft (Contention'IID).
6.
Shielding capability of containment (Contention IIE-4).
The matter of the order'of the emergency planning issues was not discussed.
I suggest that Subcontentions 9 (1), 9 (6), 9(8) and 9(9) be heard in that order.
