I have read enough of the people's letters regarding 3 Mile Island to be totally shocked and disenchanted with owt government as it stands today.
I had abatys been taught (and, until now, foolishly believed) &at our government tats "Of.the people, by the people and for de people." I realize this quote is now only a farce and no longet applicable to our governmertt.
You requested input frcm tite people regarding a complex and involved topic.
You received his inpwt in the form of housands of letters from concerned, frightened citizens begging tJte government not to dump radioactive waste materiat in de Susquehanna R,iver and bus also affecting de Chesapeake Bay.
You either *.tve not bousted to read dese lette<ts, or you have. totally discounted the people's desite,s.
Owt government seems to be concerned solely with its own greed and money making for its own benefit - not the people's.
Perhaps you felt uat by requesting input from de people you would be showing ucm yowt concetn, but I realize it tais merely a panacea for what little conscience you may have left.
Your flagrartt disrega,td for people's feelings and Lives has simply made matte <ts intolerable for those of us who do cane.

I realize my te,tter tellt have absolutely no impact whatsoever on you o.1 anyone else concerned; for once greed raises its ugly head, dere is nouing that can desttoy it until it desttoys itself, which is an eventuallty nat will occur.
It's a sad shame tJ2at in his day and age, so many must needlessly suf fe,t for a power hungry, greedy few.
