Thank you for your letters of January 4 and 11,1983, in response to our letter dated December 2, 1982.
We have no further questions at this time concerning your response to Items A and B of the Notice of Nonconformance.
As a result of the discussion with your Mr. E. Rhoads during a telephone call on February 1,1983, we have the following understandings regarding:
Item D:
Procedures will be generated to preclude recurrence.
Item E:
Personnel reminder "that procedures must reflect actual shop practices or be revised," had been documented.
Please provide us with the correct information if our understanding is incorrect.
Also, the need for the following additional information was discussed.
Specifically, it does not appear that you have appropriately responded i
to Item C of the Notice of Nonconformance inasmuch as records of inprocess inspection are not addressed.
As discussed during the exit interview of the inspection and paragraph E.4.c of the inspection report, Criterion XVII of Appendix B to 30 CFR Part 50 requires that records be " maintained to furnish evidence of activities affecting quality."
