Thank you for your letter of February 17, 1982, in response to our letter dated January 18, 1983.
As a result of our review, we find that additional information, as discussed with your Mr. R. R. Cost during a telephone call on February 24, 1983, is needed with respect to Items A, B, C, and E in the Notice of Nonconformance.
Item A - Please confirm that actions have been implemented to assure documentation of the referenced reviews in that we require corrective action responses to be verifiable by inspection.
Items B and E - As for Item A with respect to the referenced review and reinstruction.
Item C - Please identify what specific corrective actions have been taken in regard to the noted mixing of tubes from different lot numbers.
Please provide this additional information within 25 days from the date of this letter in order that we may complete our review in a timely manner.

Inspection Report No. 99900005/82-02 This is in response to your letter of January 18, 1983, concerning the report of the inspection conducted from November 16-18, 1982, at the Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel Division Specialty Metals Plant in Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
The enclosed Attachment I, " Response to Notice of Nonconformance,"
contains our response to the specific nonconformances noted in the above-referenced report.
We have reviewed the referenced report and find that it contains no in-formation which we consider proprietary in nature.
