57300, JOB E-5590, FILE NO. 956C, 0-3 This letter constitutes an interim report concerning the subject condition initially reported to the Commission as a potontially reportable deficiency under the requirements of 10CFR50.55(e).

The identified scope of this effort has been increased to include a total of 60,000 work packages.

HJK is continuing their review of these packages to identify any inspection personnel whose qualifications and certifications were not appropriately documented.

Approximately 45% of the work packages have been reviewed to date and approximately 48% of the concerns identified from the i

documents reviewed have been satisfactorily resolved.

No specific potentially reportable hardware concern has been identified.

All unacceptable conditions are being addressed through the Document Deficiency System and will be tracked as open items on a punch list until the Document Deficiency Notices are satisfactorily closed.

A follow-up report providing an updated status and determination of any deficiencies identified will be submitted by l
