Dear Sir:
In response to the letter of reference (a) and in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 2.205, Commonwealth Edison hereby provides a remittance in the amount of $60,000 for the civil penalty imposed in connection with circumstances surrounding the inoperative Reactor Protection System Subchannel at Quad Cities Station.
Our response to the NRC's Inspection Report regarding this incident is being provided under separate cover.
