By Board Notification BN 83-29 dated March 2,1983, we infomed you of our preliminary findings of a Construction Appraisal Team (CAT) inspection at Comanche Peak, Units 1 and 2.

By Board Notification BH 83-29A dated l' arch 30, 1983, we provided for your infomation two neeting sumaries related to discussions between the staff and the utility on the need to provide some fom of added assurance that the Comanche Peak station has been designed and constructed in accordance with the application.

The enclosed meeting sumnary is a description of a continuing discussion between the staff and the utility on the need for some type of added assurance progran.

The enclosed neeting sumary includes a brief discussion on the Construction Appraisal Inspection Report transnitted to you by Board Hotification BN 83-29B on April 18, 1983. This neeting sumnary is provided for your infomation.
