This letter is in respor.se to your Liarch 4.1963 letter inviting ue or Victor Stello to attend the necting of the National Organization of Test, Research and Training Reactors (TRTR) in October 1983. Untortunately, neither of us is availanle due to prior comituents.
Instead I have asked Harold Denton, Director of the Of fice of 14uclear Reactor Regulation to attend.
I hope that this change nects with your objectives in inviting a spokesnan f ron the NRC Maragement, and I assure you it is consistent with the intent and comitnent of my office to continae connunication and inter-action with the TRTR comunity.
Thank you also for the adaitional information about the anniversaries of the till Reactor and Nuclear Engineering Departnent, ano the international synposiun on the use and development of research reactors.
It is likely that some of the NRC staf f siill attend the synposium, although neither tir. Stello nor I can.
We would appreciate receiving a proposed agenda in the near future, in order for Itr. Denton to plan his participation in your TRTR conference.
