The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has issued Amendment No.68 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-35 issued to Boston Edison Company (the licensee) which revised the Technical Specifications for operation of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (the facility) located near Plymouth, Massachusetts. The amendment is effective as of che date of 4
issuance.
The amendment modifies the Technical Specifications (TSs) to incorporate (1) a clarification to TSs 3.7.A.4.a(3) and 4.7.A.4.a(3), and their associated
,, bases, to reflect the insta.11ation of alarm switches on the torus-dry-
]
well vacuum breakers and to describe in detail the applicable torus-drywell' I
vacuum breaker alarms (2) corrections of an incorrect reference to a safety i
limit MCPR of-1.06 and (3) a change to the r'epo'r' ting requirements of TS 6.9. A.2 to reflect the guidance contained in Regulatory Guide 10.1 (Revision 4) regarding the addressee for monthly operating reports.

ments of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comission's rules and regulations. The Comission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Comission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.

The Commission has determined that the issuance of this amendment will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR Section 51.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with the issuance of the amendment.
