This letter constitutes an interim report concerning the subject condition initially reported to the Commission as a potentially reportable deficiency under 10CFR50.55(e).
As stated in cut previous report, QA-2083, dated October 28, 1982, CG&E was performing a thorough investigation to confirm the structural adequacy of Nelson Studs used on installed cable tray supports. This investigation is almost complete and a report detailing the plans for verification of support integrity and a schedule for completion will be submitted by December 22, 1982.
We trust the above will be found acceptable as an interim report under 10CFR50.55(e).
