On January 3, 2020, and per this Boards November 25, 2019 Order1, C-10 submitted Exhibit INT0512. The Board hereby admits INT051 into the evidentiary record for the Seabrook proceeding. In response to INT051, NextEra and the NRC Staff submitted NER077 and NRC091, respectively. The Board hereby admits both NER077 and NRC091 into the record for this proceeding. In a subsequent filing, NextEra filed NER005-R4, its revised exhibit list. The Board hereby strikes the previous revised exhibit list, NER005-R3, and in its place, admits NER005-R4.
In its December 18, 2019, Revised Post-Evidentiary Hearing Schedule Memorandum, and contingent upon any questions regarding the parties additional testimony, this Board 1 Licensing Board Order (Granting C-10s Motion to Compel Mineralogical Data and Request to Submit Supplemental Written Testimony Concerning the Data; Denying C-10s Motion to Submit Additional Exhibits) (Nov. 25, 2019) (unpublished) [hereinafter Granting C-10s Motion to Compel].
2 C-10 first submitted exhibit INT051 in December 2019. The exhibit was subsequently refiled to correct the filing date and include the appropriate cover sheet. The exhibit now reads INT051-R to indicate its refiled status.
conveyed its intent to close the record for the evidentiary hearing on January 10, 2020.3 Based on the testimony received, we find that further testimony on the issue of chemical composition is not necessary. As such, the record for the September 2019 evidentiary hearing is hereby closed.
We reiterate that the parties may file supplemental proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law on or before January 31, 2020.4 Filings should be limited to the specific issues raised in Dr. Saoumas new written testimony and any rebuttal testimony filed by NextEra and the NRC Staff.
The parties should identify in their supplemental proposed findings of fact any study or other documentation in the record of this proceeding that addresses the question whether differences in the chemical composition of ASR gel may (or may not) affect either (1) the structural impacts of ASR, or (2) the adequacy of the CCI methodology for ASR expansion monitoring.
