Dear Mr. DeLaBarre:

Enclosed is a revised application (XB1342), dated January 7, 2020, received by the U.S.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission, from Sanders Medical Products, Inc., to replace the original application that was forwarded to you in an NRC letter dated August 26, 2019. The revision is to increase the requested quantity of Germanium-68 from 0.000185 TBq to 0.00074 TBq and change the ultimate and intermediate foreign consignees to Iraq.

Before taking action on this request, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with Title 10 to the Code of Federal Regulations Part 110.41(a)(10), from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
