Once again, let me extend my thanks to you and Bill Beach on behalf of the Board members and senior management of Kansas City Power & Light Company, Western Resources, KEPCo and Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation for the excellent report you provided us today concerning NRC regulation in general, and your perspectives of Wolf Creek, in particular.
I realize it is an imposition on your schedule to take a day to come to Kansas City for such purposes, but wish to emphasize just how much we appreciate your doing so.
I believe it was extremely important for the outside directors of the owning companies to hear your impressions directly from you, and it was equally important for you to understand just how interested and committed these individuals are to the successful and safe operation of Wolf Creek.
We were delighted to have you stay for lunch, cnd respecting your agency policy, advise you that the luncheon cost was $12.50 per person.
We feel we have an outstanding collection of people and machinery at Wolf Crcck, and will be catisfied with nothing lecc than exceptional performance from both.
I think most of us sense that that is your expectation, as well.
