CREEN RIVER FINAL TECHNICAL EYALUATION REPORT i
! want to commend you for the outstanding job you did in meneging the review of the Green River final Remedial Action Plan and Renedial Action Inspection Plan and in the preparation of the staff's final Technical Evaluation Report.
This has been an especially challenging review both from the standpoint of unusual technical issues and the high level of, political interest in this site. The review was further complicated by the fact that DOE had essentially j
completed the renedia) action, at their own risk, after NRC had withdrawn its conditional concurrence.
You not only managed the review in an outstanding manner, but because of resource constraints,.you had to prepare the final version of the ground water i
hydrology section of the 1ER, based upon the staff hydrologist's concents.
Your exceptional efforts, along with those of your review teen, were instrunental in producing an outstanding TER that we can all be proud of.
You deserve to be recognized and commended for this accomplishnent.
