Enclosed is a oopy of the exercise tiport for the December 6,1989, exercise of the offsite radiological amenipency response plans, site-specific to the Wolf Creek Generating Statico. 'Ibe state of Fansas arxl coffey County participated fully in the exercise. Iyon, Franklin and Allen Counties participated partially in the exercise. 'Ibe report was prepared by Hagion VII of the Federal Daargency Managenant Agency.

Eight deficiencias and 27 Areas Haguiring CWdve Action (ARCA) were identified daring this'exercies for the state of Fansas and the

< participating ocunties. All eight deficiencies plus eight ARCAs were

, adequately demonstrated at the renadial exercies on Jaruary 17-18, 1990.

I Based on the runedial actions taken by the State of Kansas, FDR considers j that offsite radiological energency preparedness is aisquate to prwide j reasonable assurance that apprtpriate anamures can be taken offsite to  ;
