This letter is submitted in compilance with the requirem6nts in 10CFR 50.64 to annually update the proposed schedule f6r the conversion from HEU to LEU. The University has started the final design of the core and reflector and thermal hydrautlos, The following schedule is .

l proposed for completion of the project.

July 1,1990 Start the safety analysis report.

September 30,1990 Submit the safety analysis report to the NRC. ,

i June 30,1991 Receive approval of the safety analysis report.

l- May 15,1992 Install new core. (Assuming NRC approval and the fuel can be f abricated on time.) ,
