6 VOICE:

[ Inaudible), control.

7

[ Transmission noise.]

8 VOICE:

Yeah, Joe.

Could you check the mechanical 9

stop'on-the [ Inaudible) temperature bypass valve?

10 That mechanical stop is supposed to be set at 65 11 percent.

What we could do is take that controller to manual 12 for'that valve and bring the valve' closed, and see how far 13 it ;oes closed until it won't go any more.

And then we'll 14 know what mechanical stop to set at, if you can't figure 15 that out.from.-looking at the hand wheel.

16

[ Transmission noise.)

17 YOICE:

. Yeah.

That's'what Ron was saying.

So why

'18 don't we try and get a determination on what-that mechanical' It

'19 stop is set at.

20

[ Transmission noise.]

21,

YOICE:

Okay.

Joe, on that, when we do that, we

'22-don't want to go more than 50 percent closed because it 23 should.be set at'65, and we don't want to, you know, have 24 too much flov going those (Inaudible] heat exchangers, i-

'l i

13 1

.So if it is going 50 percent or more, then that's 2

too much, and we'11'know.

3

[ Transmission noise.)

Keith [ Inaudible), Control.

5

Yeah, Keith.

Are you going to make that 7

glycol add in the CVA hot water system tonight?

8 (Pause.]

9 VOICE:

What was your final level?

10

[ Pause.)

11 YOICE:

Again.

12

[ Pause.]

13 YOICE:

I think we might actually have to go up to 14-60 percent to clear my expansion tank level low alarm.

15 Could you put in a little bit more, or don't you 16 have enough?

L 4

I don't know if they work like that.

I think you 5'

can do'that.

6 (Transmission noise.]

7

-VOICE:

Joe, we want to try and set that 8

mechanical stop so that the valve modulation on it is l

9 between 65 to a hundred percent open.

10 (Transmission noise.)

11 VOICE:

'T think what you're looking at, Joe, is

' 1 21 the mechanical stop for the 20 percent lower limit.

-- 13 What we're looking at is that hand wheel itself 14 should be. set at 65 percent.

You can set -

You can set a 15 mechanical stop via the hand wheel itseli, 16-

[ Transmission noise.)

17-VOICE:

Yeah.

I understand that.

What we'd like
