Insper.ti3n No. 73-687/90-02 This refers to the special safety in:,ptiction conducted by Mr. J. Roth of this office en January 26-26, 1980, at the Sterling F rest Research Center, for the purpose of reviewing your actions taken in preperation for entering the not laboratory exhaust duct, a high radiation area, end-to obtain various water samples for independent analysis in the NRC Region I Laboratories.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspectica Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and measurements and observations by the inspector.
No apparent violations were identifiea and no reply to this letter is required.
