Okay.
I got some valves you can do for 19 me on some restorations for the blow down out of the FW pump 20 house; if you could take care of those.
Then, when Joe is up, 21 for a second set of rounds we can start up recirc.

I didn't remember that 23 being on there.

I think those valves are supposed to be 6
locked closed valves so when we open them I think they can just 7
be opened and unlocked (Inaudible) discrepancy in the log valve-B book.

Thank you.

Go ahead, Nick.

14 VOICE:
What you got for position right now?
15 (Transmission noise.)
i 16 VOICE:
Four output inside your controller?
17 (Transmission noise.)
18 VOICE:
Yeah, Nick.
How about taking a look at 19 the valve position downstairs and see if the return valve is 20 open and the flow control valve actually has flow through it?

2 VOICE:
Is the other valve -- just to make sure 3
the other valve there is actually the return valve is open too, 4
right?
5 (Transmission noise.)
6 VOICE:
You must be able to hear a lot of flow I
7 going through there, correct?
8
[ Transmission noise.)
9 VOICt:
Did you copy that?
10
[ Transmission noise.)
11 VOICE:
You might have to move around a little 12 bit Nick.
I think all that concrete there is kind of getting 13 in the way of your transmissions.
Why don't you back up about i
14 20 feet?
15
[ Transmission noise.)
t 16 VOICE:
Okay.
17
[ Transmission noise.)
l 18 VOICE:
Go ahead, Joe.
19 (Transmission noise.)
20 VOICE:
Okay, sounds good.
I got nitrogen on 21 the generators.
We should be all set to put these right on.
I 22 am going to be starting up the B-generator on recire as soon as 23 I hear from Rick when he has done his valve up at SW pump 24 house.

1 VOICE:
Find out where Rick is.
2 VOICE:
Mayer, Control.
3 (Transmission noise.)
4 VOICE:
Joe, when you go into the vault on your 5
second set, Shawn would like you to install the locks on RC 6
valve 140 that you locked closed.
He didn't have a key so he 7
couldn't put the lock on it.
8 (Transmission noise.)
9 VOICE:
He's positioned at the close, but he 10 didn't have a key to unlock the lock so he couldn't put the 11 lock on it to lock it.
l 12 (Transmission noise.]
13 VOICE:
So, he would like you to do that, put 14 the lock on it.
Then it will be locked closed, and we will 15 have to get somebody to ID it.
16 (Transmission noise.)
17 (Pause.)
18 (Transmission noise.)
19 VOICE:
Go ahead.
20 (Transmission noise.)

No.
Pete was hogging the radio 22 airwaves.
I will get in touch with him now.

do some rounds or whatever I guess, whatever you want to do.

I think Rick was looking at standard 11 minutes, but I am not totally sure.

Rick.
14 (Transmission noise.)
15 VOICE:
Go ahead, Nick.
16
[ Transmission noise.)
17 VOICE:
Yeah, we have had some problems with the 18
[ Inaudible) sticking on that, so try not to crawl on the upward 19 location of the valve and hang your body off there.

15 (Transmission noise.)
16 VOICE:
Wade, I got to find it (Inaudible).
17 (Pause.)
18 VOICE:
I do not have any indication for 606 due 19 to UL lights extinguished from the PP1A-SSPS outage.
20 (Transmission noise.)
21 (Pause.)
22 (Transmission noise.)
23 VOICE:
I don't have any indication of that up 24 here, Shawn.
Yeah, I think that valve should be open though 25 Shawn, because the output indicates open like it would have 4

failed open.
I think the solenoids there de-enetgized from one 2
of these power panels, so the valvas should be open.

Go ahead, Joe.
21 (Transmission noise.)
22 VOICE:
Copy, thank you.
23 (Pause.)

Nick, we are pretty close to where we 25 are right now.
How much further would you have to open to get

to the mark?
Lt 2
(Pause.)
3 (Transmission noise.)
4 VOICE:
You got that about 10 percent open right 5
now?
6
[ Transmission noise.)
7 VOICE:
We are going to drop just about another 8
pound.
We are at about 86 pounds.
That looks pretty good.
We 9
will leave it like it is.
10 (Transmission noise.)
11 (Pause.)
12 (Transmission noise.)
13 VOICE:
Go ahead, Rick.

Go ahead, Ralph.
25 (Transmission noise.)
11 1
VOICE:
He's looking for the one in the west 2
pipe chase, but he's not looking for it anymore because we 3
think you know where it is.
We are going to have you do that, 4
Ralph.
S
[ Transmission noise.)
6 VOICE:
There is a danger tag on it and it needs 7
to be removed. That is all.
B
[ Transmission noise.)

The one that we want to remove is for 10
[ Inaudible).
11

Go ahead, Rick.

(Inaudible), Control.
j 7
(Transmission noise.)
8 VOICE:
We are lined up to the B-steam 9
generator.
We skipped over a bunch of steps in the beginning 10 here because they haven't done anything with all the different 11 valves anywhere, or at least I haven't known about any.
What I 12 would like to do is, would you with the 151 valve closed on the I
13 pump, I_would like for you to start the thing and make sure we 14 can fill it with a lot of good discharge pressure before you 15 actually crack that valve open and make sure that it looks like 16 we are lined up like we think we are.
17
[ Transmission noise.)
18 VOICE:
Sounds good.
When you get a 120 to 150 19 that stabilizes, then you can slowly pressurize the header with 20 that 151 valve.
It should be pretty full, so you should be 21 able to open that pretty fast.

What is the difference between zero-two-14 four pounds and 24 pounds?

Okay.
I copy.that.

18 VOICE:
(Inaudible), Control.
19 (Transmission noise.)
t 20 VOICE:
Yeah, Joe.
I can see we dropped a 21 little level in the D (Inaudible) but it looks like it has 22 stabilized out now.
It looks like we used about 80 gallons or 4
23 something like that.
I am going to start flowing to the Bravo 24 generator.

2 VOICE:
Control.
L 3
[ Transmission noise.)
4 VOICE:
Yeah, Joe.
I am not getting any 5
response from this flow meter up here.
I had thought only A 6
and C were affected by this 1E power panel, but I would like to 7
have you watch your local flow meter on the backside of the 8
pump there.

I had one of the valves that 24 you needed to open so that it starts a little pressure out 25 there.
I have the (Inaudible) closed again.
I am going to 1
A 15 l

I should be giving you some flow now.

You got the recirc valve closed?
11
[ Transmission noise.)
12 VOICE:
Don't worry about it, Joe.
I know you l
13 can't see it where you are now.
As long as the flow is 14 stabilizes about 110 or 115 or somewhere around there, it 15 should be good.
It looks pretty stable.
I do have the flow up 16 here and I have my valve liner (Inaudible).

13 VOICE:
Shawn, I think those are the two valves 14 that are together that go around CVS check valve 47.
It's on a 15 big 16 inch line and they don't show up very well in the 16 prints.
I think where you will find those is down in the 17 mechanical penetration minus 26, all the way down on-the l
18 bottom.
Where you have to go is all the way into the East end 19 and down the ladder way down underneath where all the big 20 piping is.
21 I think that's where those valves are, small one inch J22 (Inaudible) that go around check valves.

to the mechanical penetration on the left hand side there, all 6
the way against the wall, the two RHR return valves.

That is-(Inaudible) procedure.
I don't 11 know what this card says.
I didn't read it yet.
12 VOICE:
Okay.
My procedure that blank reading 13-indicates an open.
I would like to have you come up to the 14 Control Room please, so we can look at these circuits and see l
.15 -
if there is anything that we can do about them.
16 VOICE:
Okay, John.
Do you want me-to swap this 17 board on this circuit 13 first off?
18 VOICE:
No.
Swap the board, what do you mean?
19 VOICE:
All I really have to do is pull another 20 card that's in here and put it in that slot and see if we have-21 a reading.
-22 VOICE:
That will at least tell us if the RTD is 23
-reading and heat trace (Inaudible) isn't open.

whether or not it is the circuit or the card.
6 VOICE:
Yea.
7 VOICE:
Okay, then.- Hold on one second.
What 8
we want to do is, we want to try to do it with a card from a 9
. circuit that is not requiring heat trace right now.
10 VOICE:
Okay, John.
I can look in the shop and 11 see if we have some' spares in there.
We may have.
12 VOICE:
No, that's not necessary.
If you will 13 just look down there and read the circuits to try to find one 14 that is actually above -- it is set point right now, which 15 indicates it is not calling for heat trace and substitute it, 16 it's only going to be a minute or so just to prove whether or l '.
not it is the card or'the circuit.
.18 VOICE:
I have plenty of them that are over 19-temperature right now.
20 VOICE:
Okay. Substitute one of them. After you 21 substitute determine put it back in, and we will go from there.
2?
VOICE:
Okay.
23 VOICE:
Lavoie, the problem was definitely on 24 this board here.
It is not out in the field.
We are having an 25 indication of 81 degrees for circuit 13.

Eighty-one degrees for circuit 13. Does 2
that indicate that even with the bad board in there the heat 3
tracer is still working?
4 VOICE:
right.
All it is an output to the 5
digital readout on this_ local panel.
J 6
VOICE:
Okay, fine.
Put the two boards back 7
where they :)elong and write up a work request on that 8
particular board.
We need 40 avaluate these other ones that 9
are below freezing tonight and see what lines '; hey are, and do 10 something about them also.
11 VOICE:
Okay, I'll be right up.
This is already 12 done.

Okay.

h 15 VOICE:
We have some more circuits that we need 16-to read on that heat trace panel.
.I have some indications that 17 some stuff at set point 50 is actually reading 29 and 26 18 degrees out in the (Inaudible).
Could you take the meter over 19 there and give us some current readings on those also?
