In addition, as you requested at Tr. 311, the Staff will serve the parties as well as the LPDR with all Staff documents pertaining to the subject of this proceeding. The Staff will continue-to provide documents to the LPDR that, while dealing with the Rocketdyne Division, do not deal directly with the license renewal.

Documents that fit into this cate00ry include, among other things, l_

decommissioning matters.

l Finally, in regard to your order to the Staff at Tr. 288 which states:

l I order that all documents that have been created within the last twenty years that relate to prior applications related to SNM-21 and staff analyses, and inspections and violations related to SNM-21 should be included in the local public document room for this case

.the Staff has determined that the Public Document Room has approximately five.

I note that during the conference there was some discussion that a decision on the merits of the application could be reached soon after the Rockwell response that is due to be filed on April 5, 1990. The staff will make every effort to complete the process by which the material now in the Public Document Room is also made available to the LPDR in a timely manner.

I Sincerely.
