NRC STAFF MOTION FOR AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO RESPOND TO THE " EMERGENCY MOTION OF THE INTERVENORS TO REOPEN THE RECORD, FOR
SUMMARY
DISPOSITION AS TO THE NEED FOR SHELTERING IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES AND FOR LICENSE REVOCATION" On February 28, 1990, the Seabrook Intervenors' filed an Emergency Motion 1/ o reopen the record regarding sheltering.
On March 1, 1990, t
the Appeal Board issued an Order referring the February 28, 1990 Emergency i.
Motion to the Licensing Board for. appropriate action.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) provided the NRC with advice on offsite emergency planning issues. See 10 C.F.R. I 50.47(a)(2).
FEMA has requested the Staff to apply for this extension of time as FEMA's
. technical staff experts are not able to assess the matters at issue in the Emergency Motion and to communicate their assessment and conclusions to the NRC Staff in sufficier,t time for the Staff to meet its Monday, 1/
